The music icon, Ne-Yo, and his wife Crystal, were in the brink of finalizing their separation when the pandemic hit. The singer of Sexy Love gave credit to the sudden lockdown that forced him and his wife to iron out their differences. His wife, Crystal, admitted that she left her husband because of the issues that they were facing, not to mention hearing about Ne-Yo’s intention of separation through the media which hurt her more.

Though there were many uncomfortable conversations between the two, the time they spent together with their kids helped them realize the importance of their family. To show that they were serious about their marriage, the couple added a new member to their family. This is the third child of the couple, but the fifth for the singer who shares two children with her former flame, Monyetta Shaw.
