All couples should be jealous of Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard’s romance. They’ve been wedded for seven years and have been together for 11 years, which is unusual in Hollywood. While destiny brought Bell and Shepard to be together, fans may be surprised to learn that they almost called off their wedding. Bell and Shepard broke up for a spell at the beginning of their relationship.

Bell met Shepard during a birthday dinner for producer Shauna Robertson in 2007. They both said that the connection between them was not present during their initial meeting. Things were different when they met again during a hockey game. After the game, they began texting each other and started dating soon after. They ended their relationship three months after because they were at different stages of their relationship. Bell and Shepard’s love story, thankfully, did not stop there.
