Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones

Despite facing tribulations throughout their relationship, it seems that Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have maintained a long-lasting relationship. They first began their relationship back in 1998. Just a year later, they tied the knot in one of the most extravagant and expensive wedding celebrations of all time at the Plaza Hotel in New York which pretty much required a hefty investment to pull off. Together, they have two children.

Despite their relationship went off to a great start and being stable for nearly 13 years since their big day, they called it quits by 2013, with their representative stating that they were ‘taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage’. It seemed they did so, as, by April 2014, the couple reunited after months of being separated. They faced another trial in 2018 when Douglas was embroiled in controversy. Fortunately, the couple managed to hold on to their bond.
